Rod Blank - I started with a 6' 8" 2Pc Bushido Warrior blank with Fast action and Med-light power. The Bushido brand combines the latest manufacturing processes and material advancements to target niche technique specific applications. They use combinations of multi-modulus materials with high strain Japanese fibers in proprietary designs. This Bushido Warrior blank is from the Meg Bass collection.
 
Paint - This is a two stage automotive paint job from Remm Outdoors. I started with three base coats of Green O'Clock Metallic 414X and topped it off with three coats of 2K clear coat. It was then wet-sanded and polished.
 
Guides- American Tackle limited run blue insert MW20s The guides are a set of MicroWave guides from American Tackle Company. The very purpose of line guides are to capture loose line coming off of a reel and control it during the cast efficiently allowing the rod and angler to perform at their best. Combining science and practical application, the MicroWave Line Control System captures and controls line immediately in the first guide and throughout the cast with total line control. The results are improved rod reaction and better angler performance.
